Iran short film ‘Forouzan’ to compete in Peru

Iranian short film ‘Forouzan’ has been selected to compete at the 3rd edition of the Inca Imperial International Film Festival in Peru.

Directed by Mirabbas Khosravinejad, 'Forouzan' is to attend the competition section of the Peruvian film event.

‘Forouzan’ narrates the story of a young woman whose husband has recently passed away. She lives with her two young children in a village and protects a herd of sheep against the night attacks by thieves.

The flick has so far succeeded to attend the High Peak Independent Film Festival in the UK, the Melbourne City Independent Film Awards (MCIFA) in Australia, and the Pickurflick Indie Film Festival in India.

The 3rd edition of the Inca Imperial International Film Festival is slated for May 17-20, 2018, in the city of Lima, Peru.
